Luka Modric’s time with Real Madrid is coming to an end. There are only less than six months left before his term of office is completed. Even so, he didn’t want to leave anytime soon.

After serving since August 2012 or for almost 10 seasons, Modric has the potential to part with Madrid. Because, the Croatian midfielder’s contract will expire on June 30, 2022. Modric’s tenure will most likely not be added because he is 36 years old.

It’s no secret that Madrid has a policy of not using old players. Uniquely, Modric is even indifferent about his future. He insists he will remain loyal and continue to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu until it is no longer needed.

He stressed that he would maintain the loyalty that had been built for almost a decade. That is, he will not leave even if someone seduces him in the transfer market this winter.

“There is nothing better for me than being a Real Madrid player,” Modric said on Twitter. Modric insists he doesn’t want to mess around with contract extensions. He considered that the management knew very well what he needed without having to be asked.
